We are responsible for the personal information described here and handle it in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

You can look around this website without telling us who you are. There are no sign-ups, accounts or forms on the site, so we do not collect your name or contact details through it.

Like all websites, the company that hosts our site keeps standard technical records, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running securely. These are not used to identify you.

If you phone us, message us or book a table, the function room or an event, we will ask for the details we need to look after your booking, usually your name, phone number, the date and the number of people. If you tell us about allergies, dietary needs or access requirements, we use that only to look after you on the day.

We use this information only for your booking or enquiry. We never sell it, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

We post our events and offers on Facebook, and this website links to our Facebook page. If you follow, message or interact with us there, Facebook's own privacy policy applies to that information. The same goes for any other website we link to: we are not responsible for how other sites handle your information.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It does use two services from Google to work properly:

• Google Maps, which shows our location on the Visit page. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.
• Google Fonts, which supplies the lettering used on the site. Your browser fetches the fonts from Google, which means Google receives your IP address.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If we add any analytics or other tools in the future, we will update this notice first.

We keep booking details only for as long as we need them to look after your booking and deal with any questions afterwards, and then we securely delete or destroy them.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it or delete it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please talk to us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
